Just thinking of getting one, that’s all.
If you have one, what’s your verdict?

I have a Zire 21. It’s quite basic, (and cheap). I no longer miss appointments or forget what to shop for, and I always have my addresses and phone #'s. It’s Simple and Good.
Two fo my friends in school have them. One of them uses it to take notes in English (that’s the only calss I have with him), and the other uses it for just about everything. They both use them all the time, and seem more than satisfied. I have used them for games, and if you want to use them for games, I will vouch that they are more than adaquate.
umm, I think my dad has one. It’s nice.
I had a Zire71, some extra memory, the folding keyboard…
Found it a cool enough gizmo, but not worth the trouble of carrying it everywhere. The pics were mediocre – althought the 72 improves on that, iirc – and it didn’t play all that well with my fully updated OS X mac.
I had great difficulty getting it to synch and import accurate, reliable and correct data to/from my Mac, especially my calendar app.
Then, when i NEEDED IT THE MOST (to call my hospitalized father) it gagged and lost all of its data!
I found it much less helpful or useful than i’d anticipated. Data entry in the field – even with the external keyboard – was tedius.
I gave it to my girlfriend, as a marginally better alternative to percussive disassembly.
I replaced it with a Moleskine pocket notebook.

I’ve got the Tungsten E.
I use it constantly. Never got the foldable keyboard. My PC has a keyboard. You get pretty good at using the stylus.
I’m in sales. Lots of appts and details to keep up with. I set alarms all day to remind me to be somewhere or call someone back or find some info.
Love it.
I use a Zire 31. I love it, but I was really wanting a Tungsten E, mostly for the better screen. No complaints with the Zire 31 yet, There are so many free applications out there, its crazy.

I got the TungstenE for X-Mas, never leave home without it. I upgraded from the Visor Edge, which was great. I’m an English Major, so I have, besides all my assignments written down, Lots of books:
Alice in Wonderland
Through the Looking Glass
Dracula
Northanger Abbey
The Castle of Otranto,
The Monk
A Sicilian Romance
The Vampyre
The War in the Air
The War of the Worlds
Treasure Island
The Lord of the Rings (All 3)
The Silmarillion
I use the Weasel Reader with texts from Project Gutenberg that are in the public domain, so I saved about $100 on textbooks this semester ($17.50 for a book in the public domain? Fsck that!) For the record, I own LOTR and Silmarillion in print, but it’s more convenient to carry them around on the Palm
Oh yeah, I still have 24 megs of space free
I also have a 256M SD Card that I use to listen to Mp3’s.
Pros:
Awesome screen
Plenty of storage
SD Card to play Mp3’s
Works perfectly with Linux (except for the SD Card)
Cons:
No Hardware volume control
RealPlayer Mp3 software is buggy
Hot Syncing Mp3s takes forever, but you can use the RealOne software in Windows to transfer mp3’s much much faster… Which is stupid and annoying…
You can buy a program that makes the Palm act like a USB drive… My girlfriend has a USB drive that uses SD cards, so I just use that for transferring my Mp3’s
Thanks, folks.
I’m using a Visor Edge at the moment (more than happy with it), and like the idea of upgrading to colour, mp3s, camera and voice recording.
I’m also thinking of buying a few for the pupils in my school to use on field trips, etc. (and as a cheaper alternative to laptops).
I’ve heard there is a problem with the blue paint peeling off - any experiences?
I’m using the Treo 600, wish I had waited for the 650. I love it, but the 650 has a few more bells and whistles.
I hated carrying a phone and a palm, not to mention a pager and my garage door opener all on my belt. Just how geeky can one look. I should dress like Batman and wear a utility belt. Unfortunately my sugar allergy has caused me to look much less appealing in my tights than I did in my youth.
