AI Unicycle drawing challenge

Anyone else wonders, where the seatpost got stuck?

They improved image capabilities in March, and it is indeed impressive!

the pictures are only of beginner unicyclists. Experienced riders don’t need to hold their hands in the air anymore.

What is the most impressive for me is the fact that there is a panel in the background with “freestyle competition”

It comes from my prompt, I specifically asked a unicyclist riding during a freestyle competition.

This one’s terrible.

Output a picture of a man doing off-road unicycling, jumping over a hill during a muni competition. The picture is a sports photography taken with a high-end digital camera and a wide-angle lens, making the picture extremely dynamic. The unicyclist wears full protective gear and a helmet.

I’m using the API and it cost me 0.25$ per picture.

What should I get for 0.25$ instead of this crap?

The shadow seems to be a perfect match to the rider. You gotta hand it to them.

I don’t know if it’s a perfect match, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Things like shadows and lighting, in photography, are consistently shaped by the immutable[1] laws of physics.

Objects, however, are way more variable in nature, shape, orientation, etc.

Since AIs train on billions of pictures, including photographs, it feels logical to me that generated shadows and lightning are often very accurate.

But also I know almost nothing about how all of this work so I could be very wrong. :+1:

  1. weird falls while riding sometimes make me believe they are not that immutable ↩︎

I just looked on google for ai image generator and the top item was StarryAI. When entering “unicycle”, it came with 20 bicycle pictures and this giraffe:

He won’t come very far with the bit of tire that is missing. At least he has a choice of which pedals he wants to use

Who wants to build a giraffe inspired by this?

100% agree on the footnote.

0.25$ better spent

That is hilarious. Did you specifically ask for a gang member/thug on a unicycle? He looks like he might be the perpetrator of the first drive-by unicycle shooting.

Indeed. The spokes aren’t quite there yet. The crossing pattern is something like 41/19 or so. There’s even a spoke that goes straight from 8 o’clock to 1 o’clock… But at first glance, that’s not bad at all.

She’s taking her safety seriously I see.

yeah she has a battery in the frame to go extra fast.

And she rides the irreplaceable Duro Wildlife Leopard tire on a BX38 rim ! That is quite a choice !

She better should … riding down that mountain on a kangaroo setup.

Not for that frame … zero clearance.
