A little while ago there was a thread about an article about Kris Holm in National Geographic Adventure Magazine. I went out and got a copy, and it was a pretty cool article. I liked the magazine also, and I subscribed to it. In this months Issue, there’s a small mention of Unizaba, with a Picture of Kris. It isn’t a big deal, but I thought it was cool that it got some repeat coverage.
The other thing that I thought was funny, was in the section that Kris appeared in last time, called “Potentially huge”, there is a story about a sport called Ski Joring, which involves being pulled by a horse on ski’s (the person wears the ski’s, not the horse) at speeds above 50MPH. I guess that shows what sort of category people put mountain unicycling in.
