I used the search function, and came up with a few threads, but I was wondering if there was any good editing software for about 50 to 100 bucks…
Windows movie maker is only good for so long.

Adobe Premier Elements is about $40. That’s what I’ve used up untill recently.
Instead of searching a unicycling forum for editing software, you could try a forum more suited for video editing, or just do a google search.Or torrent.
People searches are often more productive that Google searches.
And torrents are not as safe as they used to be (not that they’ve ever been all that safe). More warez now come packaged with surprises (trojans) that take over your computer. One reason there are so many botted machines is because people are willing to install warez from untrusted sources. If the person at the keyboard is willing and able to install anything and everything there is no amount of computer security that will protect them from themselves.
There are plenty of options in the under $100 for video editing. Adobe Premiere Elements being one of the more well known.
Well, I just did a google search and the first few pages were reviews of video editing programs, sorted by price and what they can and cant do.
Torrents are actually pretty safe. There is a certain common sense when it comes to downloading. I know im never gonna download a complete Adobe package when the file size only says 1mb. Also, many torrent sites have user comments, and its pretty easy to tell which one is fake and which ones are real and clean.
Anyways, check out PowerDirector, Vegas Movie Director, VideoStudio, and you might find Pinnacle Studio for under $100.
Yeah, I’ve only been able to make 94 videos with it lol!
You can’t always tell. They can embed and hide a rootkit or well hidden trojan in a full package of Premiere or Photoshop. Premiere or Photoshop will install and run and look normal, but behind the scenes it also installed a rootkit. Most people would never notice the little surprise they got, and if they do eventually notice they won’t be able to figure out where they got it from.
I appreciate it everyone, i’m looking into some of your suggestions, and I might be going to a video editing camp this summer, and we get vegas with the camp.
I have Cyberlink power director. It’s pretty good.
Avid Xpress free, is the most professional one, and it’s free. The cheap version of Vegas and Premiere are both all right, they use two different interfaces, Vegas is more oriented towards multimedia, Premiere towards video, download trial versions and pick the one you prefer.
hmm
i like adobe premier cs3
its rather nice…
i need to produce a real video with it though… i just havn’t been riding enough though…
seriously, you’re making unicycle videos, for the enjoyment of the unicyclist community… not dvds that thousands upon thousands of ppl are going to be watching
i googled it and it said that it was discontinued
