Back to the Radial TA tire, I’ve been running the same one on my old Coker for years, including most of the run-up to, as well as the Ride The Lobster race in 2008. Lots of miles but not as much as others mentioned above. This was a “Coker Deluxe” from UDC in 2002, with the Aero rim.
I never had one pop, but this one has some deformation in the tread, where there’s a “squiggle” in one area of the tire. I barely ride that uni anymore, but have one of those slightly lighter, muni tires lined up for it.
