28" unicycles

Has anyone been using a Nimbus 28" for several months?
I’m thinking of getting one and am wondering how substantial they are with the lightweight wheel.

Another possibility is the DM 28".

I own a Nimbus 28" which doesn’t get as much usage as I’d like.
As mentioned elsewhere I put 10 miles (nothing to a cokerhead) on it getting
into town this weekend I was reminded how fun it is to ride.

The ride from Whitstable to Caturbury at BJC2002 earlier this year was one
of my favourite unicycling experiences to date. The light wheel was
comfortable for getting up hills - morso than a coker it seemed although
cokers overtook me on the way down.

I find the Nimbus 28" to be smooth, graceful and nimbler than I had
expected.
But it comes with a Viscount seat.

I haven’t ridden a DM 28" but it’s a DM, I doubt very much that you could
fault the build quality. That said, the Nimbus 28" is going strong and I’ve
noticed no problems with truing or odd noises. Its strength was one reason
why I chose it over a coker - it’s also half the price and has all the
benefits of the more standard 28" wheel like the nice big tyre I’ve put on
it.
