I don’t think you aren’t going to find a “cheap” 28" unicycle unless you are
extremely lucky and find a used one. The cheap uni’s (Zephyr, Cyclepro, etc.)
are all 20" or 24".

Although the 28" XL Semcycle (which is available at Unicycle Source) isn’t
inexpensive, it is a well-made unicycle and a great value. I have a 20" and a
28" Semcycle XL and I have been very pleased with them.

There’s another Model around in the 28’ size range. You might have to look into
it though, the brand name is DM, full chrome and very tough, only complaint I’ve
heard is the weight but that really effects the individual so ask around,
they’re conciderabley prety cheap also

I have the 28" DM Ringmaster and I’d say it’s about the same quality as the 28"
Semcycle XL. It isn’t any heavier as far as I know. There are two big
differences that I can tell from them. One is the flat frame crown on the
Semcycle vs. the rounded crown on the DM. Unless you plan on doing a lot of
one-footed skills with your foot on the frame, that difference doesn’t really
matter. The other difference is the seat post diameters are different and to fit
a Miyata seat (or other seats) on the DM, you’ll have to find/make a seat post
that will fit for both. I barely ride my 28" anymore now that I have a couple
Cokers… wheel size matters.
