So today I looked at my Mad4One unicycle, and the tire said it was 28", despite me buying the 29" unicycle. I measured it, and it was indeed 28". I don’t really care too much, but it was supposed to be 29". Whatever.
28 or 29 is the same rim size, 622mm bsd. It’s just the tyre that that makes it different. What tyre does your uni have?

28-inch and 29-inch tires use the same rim (622 mm). This is a confusing game played by the bike industry. They simply call the larger tires 29-inch, and the smaller ones up to about 2.0-inch wide 28-inch. It’s also confusing with 27.5-inch tires. Actually exactly 1 inch larger than 26-inch, the bike industry adds another half an inch. Until 20 years ago, these 27.5-inch tires were still classified as 26-inch and called 650B.
