UDC is out of their Primo 22.2 mm rail type seatpost. And apparently the Internet is out of them too. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? I have a 100 mile ride coming up in just a few weeks and need to acquire one before then.
Thanks.

you might be able to find an old-school BMX post that will work or you could buy a chunk of 7/8" (22.2mm) pipe and stick one of

on the top.
There are a couple other 22.2mm bike posts out there.
I have used two of the aluminum ones that I have found out there.
The first I rode was an FMF powerstick. This one is great, although a bit on the heavy side (still lighter than the rod), but you have to be careful to lube it up before you put it in a steel frame. I didn’t do this, and it ended up sticking so much that I bent the frame trying to get it out.
There is a carbon fiber one by the same company.
The second one I used was the Odyssey Junior post, and although it looked really nice, and the post itself was well made, it was only held together with one bolt and it didn’t fit nicely onto my T7 which resulted in it snapping the bolt, mid tour.

I had the same issue recently and ended up buying a new (25.4 mm) frame.
