100% giraffe freemount success rate

I took the giraffe out to practice today for awhile. Pow!! Nailed the first freemount. Tried to decide whether to quit then. No…I’ll go after another. Bang!! Nailed freemount number two.

So, I did quit. It started to rain.

100%…not bad. Klaas wouldn’t like the statistics what with a huge standard deviation like that, but he’s on the other side of the Atlantic wondering where Irving, Texas is.

I think Klaas would approve- there’s nothing standard about your deviance.

(i) I think the standard deviation for this dataset is actually zero.
You’re right that the statistics are shaky, though.
(ii) I don’t understand your use of “but” in this case.
(iii) I had looked up Irving on mapquest.com but I didn’t go through
the effort to look up all the locations of the 35 ppl on the roster
for Texas.

Think that was fruitless, try looking for Irving, Berlin! No luck at all.

A jam donut (Berlin donut) isn’t fruitless unless the jam is.
Looking up Irving on mapquest wasn’t fruitless either.
I am confident that I could fruitfully look up Berlin on mapquest
also, but as a European I don’t need to.
I presume Irving Berlin has at most a very remote connection with
mapquest but I haven’t tried.

Uh-oh. Back to on-topic?
