Just gonna post a few pics from last weekend of one of the coolest/weirdest camping uni trips ive had. The location is the Arroyo Tapiado mud caves in the Anza Borrego desert here in San Diego. There is a whole cave network that we were exploring underground with head lamps. Just one of the caves took us half an hour to walk the whole thing…and there are tons more. REALLY cool place. Enough talking, heres the pics:
Oh my! How comes you didn’t tell us this yesterday! Well, I’m intrigued and perhaps a bit jealous, so next time you’re bringing me Who’s the photographer??
The shot with the three of us in the air was really just 1…2…3…go! and great timing on our wonderful photographers’ parts (Tiffany and Randy).
As i said there are at least 11 other significant cave systems in the area waiting to be explored along with Hot Springs for swiming and a place called ‘the pumpkin patch’. You can be sure we’ll be going back for more and everyones welcome to come if you can get your butt down here…especially you, eyal!
On another note, my inside man just informed me that there are two new mind-numbing Downhill trails that have been freshly cut right here in El Cajon. These trails need riding! Can i get any volunteers to go with me?
Lol! Well, end of april, eyal? Do you realize how far away that is? hehe Sure we’ll ride the trails but it may have been my 10th time down.
Honestly, i still got to scout out the new trails. If they are anything like the other one thats in the area, ill walk past them a million times before i realize where they are.
Chris.James, you are absolutely welcome to use that as your background. I’m flattered! Thanks for asking!
Honestly I thought the three in the air was photoshoped. I thought it would be too hard to get the timing so all three of you were that high in the air
