ZNES Super Mario World ROM

I have a friend who has a Super Mario World ROM that he plays in the ZSNES emulator. Trouble is, he says he found it from a quick Google search, but I can’t find it anywhere. And if I do find a so-called mirror to download it, it is an un-downloadable somehow crappy discontinued file. So, did Nintendo get old testament on our butts and erase that ROM from the Internet, in some magical way? Literally, that Super Mario World ROM is nowhere to be found! When he told me about it a few months ago, I Googled it a found it on multiple sites right off the bat, but I delayed downloading it. Now it’s disappeared.

Copywrite violation busting at its best?

Thanks for any ideas on why this happened.

If he has it, then he can just burn you a copy, right?

Or he could re-upload it, so everyone can download it!!
Stick it to the man!

Well it IS illegally copied material.

Now that Wii offers those games on the virtual console Nintendo has really cracked down on unauthorized ROM distribution.

Go buy it for your Wii.

That game came out before you were born.

I have like 200+ roms for nes, snes and sega. of course I have all the mario games.

EDIT: I’ll see if I can zip em all and upload them to my site for you, if that doesn’t work, I’ll jsut get you the mario games.

My Wii? I have no Wii! :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re missing out. Get one. (I know, Easier said then done.)

Note that it’s only legal to download roms if you already own the game you’re buying the rom of, and only legal to download an emulator if you already own the system.

Or just play it here.   http://www.retrouprising.com/all.php?s=&search=Super+mario

Here.

There you go.

I love this game!

help i need super mario world and they don’t sell it give my site that has it

please i look ever where it’s no where  :astonished:

Don’t copy that floppy! :stuck_out_tongue:

Tsk, tsk. Such abuse of logic.

Hey, everyone’s killed an insect at some point in their life. Whether it be a bug, an animal or a person, it must be okay to kill!

That probably shouldn’t have made me laugh.

I play games on Emulators all the time. It’s fun stuff. I find it weird on how ROM sites, some games are available for download, but when you click on a game like Zelda, it won’t let you download it. It’s like they protect some, but not others.

Super mario world rom snes

I have found a super mario world rom… go to vimms lair… then go to the vault there it is plus other hard to find snes roms…hope ive been a help

later

I might of already said this, but this rom isnt that hard to find. Google.

If you can’t find your own warez you don’t deserve them.

Yes… All I’m gonna say.

Yes

On a Christmas Eve so freezing, I commenced my quest displeasing,
Through the crowded shops and busy stores of flashy Yuletide glee.
In I hustled quickly tiring, looks of hopelessness inspiring,
To the salesman inquiring, “Have you a Nintendo Wii?”
“Sorry, sir” was his reply “for I have no Nintendo Wii.
All that’s left is PS3.”

Agreed.

“Back in the day,” hackers would have to build custom hardware to exploit some systems. Or re-write assembly code. Stuff that took months of study to learn.

Now, kids just want to Google “hacking” and get an instant result. Or spam IRC and forums for hacks and wares. They thumb their nose at all the work that has been done to produce said hacks.

These wares don’t make themselves. Ferchrissakes, kids, show some appreciation for those hackers whose wares you use! Do a little work yourself, you lazy scumbags! Use your brains!

Oops, sorry, didn’t mean to go into rant mode there. :stuck_out_tongue:
