Zack and Miri Make a Porno is an OK movie. There are definitely some very funny moments and the performances, for what it is, are superb.

What Zack and Miri Make a Porno do best are a) stretch the boundaries of what constitutes an R rating versus an NC-17, and b) extend the boundaries of how raunchy and sexually explicit a film can be and still be a touching love story.

While watching this movie my wife found herself wondering what we were going to have for dinner tonight and what chores she could accomplish tomorrow.

While watching this movie I found myself wondering, while considering a and b above, if Kevin Smith was testing the limits of how far his audience will allow themselves to be debased in the name of entertainment before they say enough is enough.

I’m not there yet.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno is far and away funnier and more entertaining than Pineapple Express.

Some of my friends built up pineapple express so much, the I watched it and thought it was pretty much ass.

Then again, make any movie about weed and stoners will rave about it.

Watched it yesterday.

Good movie. Funny, good plot line, and romantic in an original way.
