you’d be better off getting a 24" torker DX i believe

Here

mainly because it’s got a splined hub, which is much much stronger

theres one of those on ebay for 200 right now

It’s a good deal, but the Torker won’t fit the Duro Wildlife Leopard 24 x 3.0 tire.
The cheapest uni that will is the Qu-Ax 24" @ $329.

Cheapest spindled Muni, that is.:stuck_out_tongue:

You dont need a 3.0 tire though, I have used my 2.5 and its been fine, I even do a lot of trails on a 2.125, and its all good, just depnds what uni i am using.

I have been riding a 24" Yuni MUni with 3 inch tire for about 2 years. It has worked well for me but I am not a hardcore rider.

One thing I did not like about it, the chrome wore off the frame (in spots) fairly quickly and it started to rust. That seems to be true with just about all the chromed unicycles.

I’ve had the Yuni Muni with 3" tire for about 2 years also. I only do light MUni and it is still a solid cycle, no rust or chrome peeling issues (yet???). It is a good unicycle for the price. Good luck!

I belive the torker DX will fit a duro, but it won’t fit a gazz, I am not 100% sure about this but I think a duro will fit.

i was just asking because i heard that the yuni frames are good. i’ll probally just go custom all the way and mix and match parts for myself, instead of buying one stock.

Only thing I dont like about the Yuni frames, is that it fits 22.2 seat posts, The Nimbus frames, will hold a bigger frame, but are the same design as the Yuni, so I would use a Nimbus frame for a custom job. Then you wont have to use weaker smaller seat posts and can stick to a bigger one that wont break as easily.

yeah, i think that’s right. one of my friends put a duro wildlife leopard 3" on his dx.

and, about the yuni. i don’t know much about the frame, but if you were gonna get it stock, i’d say say $300 seems a bit high for a uni with cotterless cranks and plastic pedals. for that price go for the dx.

i got a uni for 1year and its really not solid de hubs broke five time before i decide to change for a qu-ax. dont buy any unicycle without splined axel if you want to do higher dro^p than 1 feet.

the DX and the Onza are both really good and they both will fit the Duro tire

I’ve abusing a Yuni frame for a few years now with no peeling or rust. The frame is super solid. If you’ve got the dough, UDC sells a Yuni / Profile combo. Slap a CF seatbase on that and you’ll have a rig that’ll withstand armageddon.
