Youtube question

As of today, the “total views” count is gone! I periodically go to my account to check my total views, and it’s always been clearly listed and updated daily, but it’s just not there anymore. Does anyone know why this is, and if you have a youtube account, could you check to see if you have the same thing happening and let me know? Thanks!

It’s always been listed right under “favorites”, where I put the box. Not now for some unknown reason. I would hate to have to add them up one at a time! :astonished:

Do you have a daily quota of YouTube hits?

Are you afraid you’re not getting enough attention?

People get along just fine in relative obscurity.

I’m sure you wouldn’t die if YouTube magically disappeared.

I’m also sure you’d still be able to go out and ride.

Yep, had a great ride today with Vivalargo and pics and video are coming soon. But thanks so much for your helpful insights. It’s no wonder you’re so popular, friendly and likable.

not there for me either:(

Thanks Tyler I guess it’s youtube then and not us. My laptop HD totally died and so I had to get a new on and reinstall everything, so I thought maybe it was my settings or something. Thanks. :o

All I have learned to do on you tube is watch vids LOL

So I am not sure what Terry is writing about, that is more of a deeper accounts thing.

I just typed in unigeezer and got a bunch of hits. The top 10 varied from about 3000 down to 1000 views.

Not a bad showing, but really I thought Terry was more popular then that.

Actually here are my most viewed. The older ones have just had more time to get more views. Just passed 140,000 total yesterday, then the total view count display vanished. Oh well.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Now, what’s the worry again?

I’m here to help!

I figured I wasn’t the only one! And since youtube only just removed the “total view count” yesterday, there will be MANY more complaints and requests to bring it back.

WIth as many vids as you have Terry, I could see why you would want to keep track of what people are watching. Your vids are fun to watch and I can tell you enjoy making them, keep on enjoying life.

Thanks maestro8 for reminding me there is a ignore feature on this website. :o

Thanks, yeah it’s just fun to keep track. I do work hard on the videos and put a lot of time and thought into them, so it’s nice to have the capability to track how many people are watching them. It’s like actors and people in the movie business who want to track ticket sales and box office…except I don’t get paid or have nearly the audience lol! You just like seeing that people are watching and hopefully liking what you’re doing.

I also like to keep track of, and read the comments, and try to respond to every one. I get lots of questions and people asking advice. I try to answer the best I can, and also refer them to our great forum for the collective wisdom of our members!

Yay, total view count is back! 141,176!

That makes me think…if there was a “walk of fame” for the uni-video actor, it wouldn’t be a gold footprint. I think it would have to be either two handprints, or a faceprint, signifying the two most likely contact points with the ground during a muni UPD.

It’d have to be called, the “wheel of fame”.:stuck_out_tongue: But all seriousness aside, I think the most likely contact points with the ground after a UPD (not during a UPD, since you’re still airborn) are your feet.

Yes, that is what you think. But you’re not me. I would never back down from a UPD by trying to run away from it.

And so I hereby nominate you for the “Most likely to faceplant award!”:stuck_out_tongue:
