I’m thinking of getting one so i was wondering who has one and what they think of it? also say what style of riding you use it for.
Thanks

Its good for muni or urban muni type street. It’s not very good for flatland/freestyle because it kind of acts like a hook and catches your leg on some stuff like some wraps and unispins. I like it because I can turn my hand around in the handle and it makes really flowy rolling 180 unispins. If you get one I recommend a CF base or a viscount because it will snap a plastic base with all that leverage. Overall its a really good handle but there are a few cases where I would want a lower profile handle that doesn’t get in the way for some stuff. Oh and it hurts like hell when you land on it.
I have one on a myata airseat and gb4 stiffener for Muni and it is amazing. I’ll never use anything else.
I recently switched to using a reeder and a viscount seat for trials as well, and I’ll never go back. KH handles suXors in comparison.
I have 1 that I won at the 04’ CMW. I love it so much better than anything else for muni, but for trials or street, they are not so good for me. kinport is what i use for trials.
wtih a stiffener plate for muni it’s amazing. it’s great for rolling hops but as mentioned by others, not so great for unispins or leg wrapping tricks.
Couple guys in our Muni group use this handle and seem to like it, though one of them (Jesse Reigle) just switched over to a Scott Wallis CF unit. I’m thinking for the price it’s a solid choice and stands the abuse of many UPDs if your seat base is strong. I think there’s some issue with using one with KH gear–something about the bolt patterns, but I believe there’s a work-around for this. Josh just got one so maybe he can chime in here.

If you really like to get a good grip on something and yank it, the Reeder works well for that. Personally, I’ve ridden a whole lot of MUni with a Reeder, and am now mostly riding MUni with a KH seat and handle, and I prefer the KH. The main things which turned me off to the Reeder were the asymmetry of it (I feel like I tend to twist while I’m using it), and the fact that I’ve never found a way to keep it from causing extra thigh and leg damage. (Plus the time it hit me in the teeth).
Personally, I don’t think the expense and the extra weight are worth it.
agreed, its not for everybody,i liked it when i was 1st riding but over time it was over kill…then one day i bailed and it nailed me in the ankle…back to the bumper after that episode.
the pull is good, but the weight up top made my seat drop like an anker (sp?) body parts beware!
It’s anchor, Jagur dear. That is very polite of you to ask when you are not sure.

I know Chris Reeder personally!
cool huh?
Anyway, it was made for distance riding, but now the GB4 handle is certainly better for distances than the Reeder. I think that the Reeder is better for MUni and Trials though, possibly street as well.
oh, yes, this is important. either get a CF base, or get a Miyata stiffener plate…I got the Miyata stiffener plate for my Coker, however for Trials you would want the CF since its lighter.

Or Jagur is just being multi-lingual. The English word anchor
translates in Dutch as anker.
