I used to yo-yo…does anyone else here still yo-yo?
yo yo yo homie
I can but don’t
I can yo yo, but choose not to.
same.
a bunch of friends and i started that whole yo yo craze.
really? you sure about that? I was under the impression it was started a long time ago…
yes… by cavemen. It was designed as a weapon to kill the dinosaurs. (Half-truth)
Wrong!
I don’t have a yo yo!
oh man, back in junior high, I got sooo good. but I don’t have a yo yo anymore. The Yomega fireballs were the bestest.
I used to be pretty good, but i lost my yo yo and the string was old and crappy anyway…I haven’t in a long time, and wanted to pick it up again…but i dunno anything about them anymore…what kind are “good” yo yos?
I still have one. I was crazy about yoyos in primary school (dont have the same school system as you). I can still do some tricks. I sold one of my yoyos to my maths teacher for her son:D
I know a few people who seriously yoyo…
Does a diabolo count?? and yes i can yo-yo and still do. There’s even a greek sweet by the same name.
Im gonna get back into it.
I need some help though choosing a good yo-yo.
I used to use a regular Duncan butterfly. That was good, but then brains came out, which allowed me to sleep better, with more control. Well, I had no control, the yo-yo and the clutch system had the control.
I didn’t like them, because when I wanted it to come up, I had to wait for the clutch to catch the axle. Or sometimes it wouldn’t sleep for as long as it could have, or should have.
I have done some searching and found some nice yo-yos, with steel ball bearing systems. Are those the ones to go for if I want serious sleep speed and length?
Also, if you know of a yo-yo, with the bearing systems, or maybe the lower transaxle system, please link them. They also have to have a flare or butterfly design to them.
Those are my specs, so please give info on a yo-yo that fits them.
Hey, I used to yo-yo a whole bunch too, but I don’t anymore. I don’t know if this yo-yo fits your specs, but I’ve owned transaxle yo-yo’s, ones with steel ball bearings, changeable axle’s… everything. But, I found great yo-yo with a system that lets you control responsiveness. It’s called the F.A.S.T 201 by the Yo-Yo Factory. It’s a butterfly yo-yo, that’s light, designed for string tricks, but because of the amazing starburst response system, I used to use it for looping and everything. It’s the best yo-yo I’ve ever owned, and it’s real cheap too. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get back into yo-yo-ing, and any experienced yo-yo-ers as well!
The first link explains it, and the second is where to buy it.

PS- I’d also reccomend either the Cobra or the Coral Snake from Henry’s. The Yo-Yo Factory makes quality, fair priced yo-yo’s, and pretty much anything from Duncan is good too… Here’s a link: http://www.yoyoguy.com/PL/1/9/Welcome
I went looking through all my yo-yos. I have quite a collection. Handmade, cheeseburger yo-yos, mini, large, glow in the dark, one has a real scorpion in it., kool stuff. I noticed I had a lot of Yomegas for my real yo-yos, the ones Id practice and do tricks with.
Went to Yomegas site and saw three I liked, one I decided against, cause I like having more weight to throw around.
Here are the two I’m deciding upon.
Going more towards the First one right now.
I have a yo-yo, I just don’t know where it is.
I have never realy tried to yo-yo, hence im pretty bad at it.
One of my friends chipped his tooth yo-yoing.
It was funny.
