Xbox 360

Who’s played it? Who bought it? What games… etc.

I personnally think that it sucks that you have to have a Hi-Def screen for all the aweosmness, and the fact that you could see facial experessions and feel the emotions when killing was a bit eerie.

Otherwise i’s a cool setup, but I’m waiting for the PS3.

If they required you to have hi def to even use the 360, then that’d be lame. But adding the ability to have better quality for hi def screens is just added benefit as more and more people move to hi def. In no way does it take away from someone that does not have a hi dif screen, so your experience is no different than it would have been if the 360 didn’t have better quality for hi def.

It’s actually great that they’re looking forward and giving these owners a bonus for having invested in this higher-quality hardware.

Because a good TV is an investment.

Is this here anuther one uv them thar threads about them cell-fones?

I played it at walmart a few weeks ago.

AND, the FREAKIN’ controler was already busted!!

Oh, and I played Peter Jacksons King Kong, which had really good graphics but in the little amount of time I played it didn’t seem like any spectacular game or anything, just good graphics. The controls were hard to use, but maybe thats 'cuz they were broken…

I think the 360 is gonna kick the PS3’s butt.

i own it and i love it… the grafics are really good…best game ive tried-need for speed most wanted

You could just go buy a computer. that’s all the xbox is. With a computer you dont need a hi def screen to enjoy all the awesomeness.

You can use a mouse, too.

I had that same argument until I noticed that X-box/X-box 360 equivalent gaming PCs cost over $1500.

But the computer does so much more. Why do you need perfect graphics anyway? I’ve played games with crappy graphics and found them completely enjoyable.

no, cellphones don’t exist anymore.

Add to the $1500 for the high-end gaming machine $400 for a monitor that makes it worth it, plus a quality 5.1 set of speakers and it gets more expensive.

Since so many people spend so much on a quality TV & surround setup, why not take advantage of that? Your computer certainly couldn’t.

I love my PC - there are a TON of games that it will beat out over console games, but there are a number of console games that blow the PC versions away. It all depends on the game and what it’s developed for.

But if you have a high end home ent. system with a TV that’s 5x the size of your PC monitor, why not use that to have that much better of an experience?

It’s unfortunately not an apples-to-apples comparison.

We don’t have the money to afford it right now (I’m mainly wanting a PSP this christmas…still don’t have one). But I got invited to a LAN party around December 20th, so I’ll be able to try out the 360 there.

Apples are so much better than apples.

And my NES is far better than any apple

My NES has more playability than any game system since then!

The PSP is pretty nice, my friend has one. But the precision manefacturing of the hardware sucks…one button was coming off when he bought it and the headphones were screwed up…the wires were stuck together were your head goes.
