hey guys, i have been out of the video game loop for several years, and have not really played anything (if any) after PS1 (and the very beginning of PS1’s reign)
my office now has an xbox 360 projected onto a dome (like an extra curved satellite dish) giving the viewer a virtual reality type experience by projecting the game onto a dome a few feet in front of the user taking up his whole 180 degree field of view. neat eh??
what’s the coolest first person shooter war game out for the x360?
Can’t say I like star wars games but I think the best shooters for the 360 are pretty much Call of Duty 4, Gears of War (pretty graphic, can you play “M” games at your work???), and Halo 3 (I’d side with Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War before this though).
Call of duty 4 is fantastic. Best on pc but ok on X360. Halo 3 is a bad addition to the series however still ok. Theres a new star wars game almost out something like the force or something. But call of duty 4.
Halo 3 is way better than Halo 2, in 3 there are so many more aspects and cool parts to the game. Call of Duty 4 is great, but not if it’s just a few people playing, you need a heap of people and that means system-link or live, but it’s still fun.
All the games listed are great, but I feel a great game has not been mentioned yet.
The Orange Box.
The Orange Box has 5 first person shooters(Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2), and all are worth playing. I had already played Half-Life 2, and loved playing all these games again on the big screen. Portal is an incredibly innovative game, and also great fun. Though the Orange Box is better on PC due to the user created content on Team Fortress 2, I think it’s definitely worth the money.
Buy COD4 first, you’ll probably get more enjoyment out of it. If you want to buy more than one game though, consider The Orange Box.
