Something weird happened today…
I got a check from Microsoft for $22.94 in the mail today.
Nothing else just the check.
I wonder if this has something to do with the DOJ settlement?

Way to soon for that, I haven’t read the settlement doc’s yet but I don’t
think there is any monetary aspect for consumers in it. Two states said
today they may not go along with the DOJ settlement anyway so if that
happens things could still end up back in court and it could be another
year before the case is finally closed.

Funny I should read your post John. Just today Microsoft sent me a
“mystery check” for $12.80 and why, I don’t know.
There is an invoice# & dated 9/6/01… but that does not tell me any
thing, unless these are long lost rebates from a year or two ago?

Whooohooo… I got an MS check too. All from the commissions I got from
ihateclowns.com affiliate program. That was the only affiliate I used
through there, so it probably would’ve been a while until I reached the
minimum payment anyways.
Rodney, please let me know when you get your new affiliate program up
for that.
