I’d love to get a RR 2.4 for my KH 29-er rim. I have a Big Apple on it right now but want something that will be good for fast single track.
Tim: You are right on with this choice. The 2.4 RR is the best choice for a wide (yet light weight) tire for that sort of riding. My only minor gripe is how fast the tread seems to wear and there is not a lot of it to begin with.
I know Universal in NW Portland has them for around $60 if you strike out here.
