Wristwatch voice recorder

I’m thinking about getting a wristwatch voice recorder soon.

Sometimes I want to take notes while I ride, to remember something later.

  • likes/dislikes of a new trail
  • the route I’m taking
  • a comment someone said to me
  • keep track of UPDs and accomplishments
  • something special I saw

Stopping to jot down a note ruins the ride, and I don’t think I can typically write legibly while riding.

Does anyone have a better idea?

I have a small hand held digital recorder that I use to record which dances our Morris team does during a long day. It’s a bit of a faff to use for lots of short messages.

For my rides (bearing in mind I used to write them up in this forum) I rely on memory. If something is funny enough, good enough or a big enough achievement, I will remember it. Of course, memory gets worse with age.

The last post reminds me of something but I can’t quite put my finger on it…
