Wrist Mirrors, Road Riding and Cars

I agree that seeing behind while you ride, especially in traffic, is fairly important. I have one of the helmet-mounted variety, and use it on almost every ride. (Every road ride, and some muni rides, depending on what I think trail traffic will be that day. It’s easily taken off and reinstalled as needed.)

I have been dieing to try a pair of these.

I actually bought such a wrist mirror, but always forget to put it on. Though the glasses are a cool invention with the mirror, I already wear glasses, I won’t wear the sunglasses on top.

Isn’t there a small mirror you can attach to existing glasses?

They also make helmet cameras. They might help since it will record where you are looking.

Those look great, but I would try before buying. Getting a clear view behind you can be tricky.

and if you focus too much on it, you will prolly lose your balance. Yesterday I wanted to crack my neck while riding, so twisted my head sideways and that screwed up my balance and sent me flying

I have my smart watch and my wrist guards on my left hand so that real estate is spoken for. The left is the side that I have the mirror on my bike so I would want the same for unicycle. Glasses in general kind of throw me off a little while mounting, even sun glasses but I would like to try the rear view mirror sun glasses.

Happened to me a couple times; usually when riding fast.
