i performed with a guy like that, only he was Australian and not putting it on. one cant help feeling embarrassed when he is out there.
All I can think of is that wasn’t even meant to be funny. 
I have this inexplicable conviction that with the huge glasses, the mussed hair and the gravelly voice Neil Hamburger is trying to imitate Gregory Peck.
