I took this quiz and JC was right. I am a libertarian; with a little left. huh
I thought I hung a little to the right.

Guess that means Nader:)
Me to except Iām more to the right.
Iām right on the line between liberal and libertarian
.
This clarifies something thatās always confused me about people who identify as conservative/republican.
I always though that being republican meant you want less government intervention, but it appears thatās only true for business and that republicans DO want government control when it comes to personal freedoms.
60/60. I donāt really trust the accuracy of a 10 question quiz thoughā¦
Apparantly Iām centrist. One box to the right of the very center.
This quiz wouldnāt let me finish. I got to question 6 and it told me to quit there, go to some obscure African country, and start a violent war.
It doesnāt matter to me 'cos Iām an Aussie, but I took it anyway, hereās what I got: Centrist
That site has a bias in how it phrased the questions. They were very leading towards the libertarian side, and to a lesser extent the conservative side. Iād bet if we phrased those same questions differently weād have a different trend in the results.
For instance āLet people control their retirement. Privatize Social Security.ā
Yes, I want to let people control their retirement. No, I donāt want to Privatize Social Security. Thatās like saying āMake kicking puppies illegal, throw up a border fence.ā The two questions donāt go hand in hand. I call Shenanigans on that quiz.
This is what I got except up 1 to the left.
Apparently Iām a libertarian.
My score is about the same as yours. Not very accurate imo.
Does this make me a pinko, commie, fag subversive?
Not the most subtle of political interrogations.
I agree with above posters - the test is strongly biased toward the libertarian.
The test at politicalcompass.org seems more objective, although longer.
Criticism
Critics say this quiz is inaccurate and respondents score libertarian when they are not. Mike Huben says that the questions are phrased in such a way as to encourage an āagreeā response, and a quiz with all āagreeā responses results in being placed at the height of the libertarian corner. This matches a score of ā100%ā of both axes.
Oh, and āGeorge Bush doesnāt care about black people!ā
I came out Libertarian leaning to the right.
