World Champion is Unicyclist

It was great to see that the current Formula 1 World Motor Racing Champion -
Mikka Hakkinan is an accomplished unicyclist.

A preview of the Australian Grand Prix last Saturday on UK Television Channel 3
showed Mikka completing very expert tour of a stage on what looked like a 24"
uni at some sort of presentation ceremony.

Unicyclists should make good use of this connection in their dealings with the
media to ensure wider attention.

Yes. It was in December 98 in a German circus (Zirkus Krone) in Munich. It’s an
annual spectacle for the public: “Stars in der Manege”. Stars are invited to the
circus and perform. This year,one of the stars was Mika Hakkinen. «
