Working on the rolling hop [solved]

From the video, it looks like you have more pressure on the front pedal, so you roll forward when you land and fall backwards since you are also leaning back. I think you want even pressure on each pedal when you land and the cranks as horizontal to the ground as possible to help achieve even pressure. If you are leaning back you could also pause when you land the wheel to allow momentum to pivot the seat forward, so it’s easier to start pedaling forward.

Maybe you can try static forward hops to get a feel for keeping even pressure on the pedals when the tire lands on the ground and keeping the cranks horizontal. There’s less timing required so it should be easier.
