Flogging your uni should be a criminal offence 
Welcome TonyEv. You can get some great advice and tips from here. I’ve only just begun to learn and am restricted to a session now and again on the weekend.
Hang in there, don’t get rid of the uni (sell your car, your guitar, or anything else) and keep trying. I’ve managed to get about 10-12 metres so far. My son is a natural and he can just mount and ride anything.
You’ll get there. Give it time and hold onto the uni.
