Hey I’m just wondering how many people also do witer sports like skiing, snowboarding.
also if you are into this what mountains do you go to. I personally am a skier and never plan to go from it.
I was riding snowboard in school, with 2 days a week snowboarding.
But then, i crashed my knees, and now i don’t know what i’m going to do, anyway, i have a apointment at a doctor specialised in athletic next week.
I’ve been crosscountry & downhill skiing since I was real little, and am also now learning to snowboard. My parents live about 35 minutes from the Mont-Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, so there are plenty of great hills in the area to ski in the winter! Hopefully, this Christmas I’ll some in when I’m back there…

I teach skiing at Snoqalmie Central.
Also lame boarder. Prefer my sticks to the board.
I get to go skiing on Spring Break. I have never been before. I hope its fun.

I snowboard. I’m not THAT good, bot I really enjoy it.
I snowboarded for 6 years now, but have quit because the risk of me breaking my leg is too great… I was pretty good and could do some cool trix and bomb down a hill at top speed, but its all in the past.
Is there that much going on in Saskatchewan? 
I’ve been skiing since I was four, (12 yrs.). I’m pretty good. i’m going for Ski Patrol and Instructor this year just so I can travel later. What sizes are your guys’ hills? In Nova Scotia we don’t have very big ones, like 500 ft. vertical drop is the biggest. We have four hills, in the province. I’ve been to Mont Ste. Anne a couple times, Tremblant a couple times, and a few smaller Quebec hills. You guys in the rockies are so lucky.

mostly in the mountains where I was born (that is the Pyrénées)
the funny thing is that, as a boy, I started skiing in Morocco

I do telemark, alpine and XC skiing. I lived at the base-lodge of a Utah resort called Alta for 3 seasons, skiing 152 days the first season, but “only” 130 days each subsequent season.
I also enjoy snowshoe winter camping up here in the Adirondacks, though it can be really cold.
Nowadays I do mostly XC skiing with my kids and sledding.
I love winter.
i do nordic, im on the high school race team and all that good stuff. i snowboard on my own time. ive been doing that for about 5 years, living in maine gives me a lot of time to be in the snow, this winter sucked though.

Well I don’t do anything special or whatever but I love skiing, I’ve yet to try telemark and snowboarding.
Um, I ski at Great Divide and sometimes Discovery Basin in Montana, and been to Lost Trails a few times…

I race on Volkl, freeski on elan and karhu, XC on atomics… got 53mm of lift on my race boards… but i need more… oh yeah, #32 Overall Telemark World Cup standings…so like im #32 in the world
Our winter sports are soccer and wrestling…but that’s probably no surprise.
