I have a coolpix 5200 camera (with lead) and I was wondering if I could use it as a webcam;)

EDIT: Ah, I see you’re from the UK…you use different words than we do…you must mean a ‘cable’. Is this ‘lead’ a USB or a FireWire? (Does it say IEEE or does it say USB?) If it doesn’t say IEEE, then you better hope it has USB2.0 compatibility, and that your computer does too. If you’ve answered yes to the IEEE question or the USB2.0 question, then yes, you can use it as a webcam.

i’d wager the manual can help with this question. if not the nokia website can likely enlighten you.

id turn it on, plug it in, set the camera you are using in the program, and hope for the best. but thats just me.
