Will my GPS work if I’m abducted by aliens?
When I return and download the location and path traveled into my computer, what will it display?
Yes
It will display a route indicating that you stopped at a flower shop on your way to sweet, sweet Alan Turing’s house.
what kind of aliens do you mean?
Illegal aliens?
It will either show you that you stood still while your mind was abducted, or display “Out of range”.

Another possibility: you’d be able to spot the place on earth where all the abducted cows are gathered for alien experiment purposes.

The GPS should function as long as you have power. Be sure to always carry your AC and DC power cords, just in case the space ship has compatible power sources. I’m sure aliens once had the need for cigarette lighters too.
Data could be the problem, will the GPS signals penetrate the space ship? Do you have to turn it off so it doesn’t interfere with the space ship’s navigational system?
The most interesting question is, if the GPS can receive the signals, how will it interpret the data once you’re beyond the satelites?
