Lol, he didn’t look injured, must be safe, lol. Looks cool too.
3rd Attempt. I wonder what happened the first two times.
He wrecked. He hit the deck and bounced. This movie makes me feel special, i can go to travis’s house when ever i want.
Wow. No apparent damage to the rider and, more amazingly, the tricycle didn’t break in impact!
When I watched the video second time, I noticed the name - Travis Pastrana. Travis Pastrana is a legendary motorcross rider, the first to land a double-backflip on a motrobike.
He’s had so many injuries in his body, you could write a book about them. The most famous is the separation of his spine from pelvis, an injury that only three people in the US have survived(or so they say).
Edit: Oh, and he jumped out of an aeroplane without a parachute.
The second link also has footage of the first wheelchair backflip also(at about 2:20 if you can’t bothered to watch the rest). Also very impressive, especially as the guy’s head clears the ramp by about 6 inches!
Nasty - you could injure yourself badly doing that and end up in a… oh yes.

I remember watching a Motorcross dvd at a friend’s house, it featured the double backflip and had Travis’s commentary. He was giving his analysis of the trick before the attempt. What really stuck with me was him going through different stages of the trick and saying which body parts he would most likely destroy if he bailed at that stage. There was one bail point which he thought was good, because he would only break his knees. I saw this over a year ago and my memory is not so good, but it’s still a movie worth watching. I don’t remember the name of the DVD, unfortunately.
Gives you a different view on practically any unicycling ever of us ever do. Joe Hodges ride - a walk in the park.
hahahahahaha:D
Now to see it done on a unicycle or pedal pushing scooter.
I say, he’s really rather good.
Not bad at all.
Think he could clear the Swiss/German barbed wire fence?
How could someone make a living selling stolen barbed wire?
An expert uni glider could probably get some decent air time with the right ramp and launch configuration, but I’m thinking the devil would be in the landing and run-out.
I was thinking about that and I believe the trick would be in catching the pedals crankflip-like and landing it. I’ve yet to try it or see it done.
