Why would someone buy a Torker seat w/o the torker?

What is wrong with someone who would do this?

To replace a Savage seat.

to put on my kids uni’z.little butts, little seats

Re: Why would someone buy a Torker seat w/o the torker?

I want to buy a torker or jugglebug (red) seat for my daughter’s uni. The
blue viscount seat is just too large for her. And I think the blue
jugglebug is bigger than the red. If I remember, the torker saddle it’s
just about the right size (for her).

Hmm, I think the jugglebug mounting bolts are a different pattern than the
schwinn or the miyata. So the torker is (apparently) the only other option
(unless I replace the seat post).

DING! Winner! Give that man a prize.

Nearly anything’s a good replacement for a Savage seat. I think a piece of
lead pipe with duct tape on it would be an improvement. Mounted
horizontally, that is. Mounted vertically it would be a toss-up.

That one left me rolling on the floor John! Funny part is, IT’S 100% TRUE!!! I learned on a Savage seat and I (shudder) don’t want to talk about it. Bagpiperboy, with a new Torker for Christmas, originally found it (somehow) more comfortable to ride with the saddle backwards!!! but later got rashes, in many places. My Savage is about 70% replaced parts and a few original parts. One of the replaced parts, obviously, was the seat. i used an Avenir seat (a brand normally associated with Mountain Bikes), but so far love it. I think it’s the same shape as a Viscount, but not quite as padded. Great for hopping. Anyhow, my friend bagpiperboy here would be more than happy to trade his Torker seat for one of ya’ll’s old seats, as long as it’s not a savage. (they don’t call it “savage” for nothin’! big time S&M)
