Ok, you have prob been asked this before, but I cant find any info on it…
My computer wont play most videos. I use the new Windows Media Player. I also have WinAmp, but that is terible for watching videos on, as it doesnt play them smoothly.
Why wont it work? Anyone? Help me… I want to watch some uni jousting, and Tylrs(?) vid…

Taylr’s video is a .mov file, so unless you have the Divx codec for WMP then you have to play it through quicktime.

Get Media Player Classic and you’ll be able to watch almost all video types. I personally love The Core Media Player which also can handle lots.

I have sort of a weird problem with playing videos with Windows Media Player. Sometimes I go through the videos fine, but on a lot of them they just stop and say “buffering” about half way through. Then they just sit there for about two minutes, then quit. On any given video, the problem is always in the same spot. My computer is a G5 mac and I have cable internet, so my computer should be fast enough. Any idea what’s wrong?

hmmm… this sounds kinda tough. Check through your buffering options and see if there is something there about buffering videos and whatnot. Other than that, if it’s not a slow compy or connection then I am stumped.

this happens to me. this is why I like mac, as a matter of fact, weird crap like this happens less. anyway, I have the same issue. usually, I just replay it. (redownload, etc.) it usually works the second time. That’s about all I can say about it.
