why do the udc sites in other countrys have more stuff than the one for america?

the title says it all

i always wondered that to but never got it answered

Because that it was they consider to be the most profitable available route. They are a business after all. What ‘stuff’ is the american UDC lacking?

monty tires and i cant find any other site that sells them

and they dont have the quax trials and they took them off like 2 days before i was going to buy one too

Surely that means they’re just out of stock? I think the British UDC doesn’t remove items, it just adds a note saying they’re out of stock so you can still look at them to consider purchasing in the future.

I wish they had this.http://www.unicycle.uk.com/shop/shopdisplayproduct.asp?catalogid=782

And look at all the detail put into the specs.
UK is an incredibly professional site.

i wish they had these http://www.unicycle.uk.com/shop/shopdisplayproduct.asp?catalogid=30

I think it’s just slightly different stock between countries - there are things available in the US that aren’t available here (Torkers and Yunis are the obvious ones).

Rob

the uk site does ship to the us.

Other than whats in stock I think things that are different are probably things they get from bike distributors. The unicycle specific stuff is mainly pretty similar with the exception of things like Torkers, which come from a US bike distributor.

Joe

Have you tried contacting Monty new distributors http://monty.es/news/index.asp?news_id=317 and asking them if they plan to stock this tire in the USA

oh and to answer the question in the title of the thread;
because the grass is always greener on the other side

Also the koxx line is european, lots of thing are european so easy to get for them Im assuming.

the guy who builds the CF bases for UDC is also european…

They are “handmade in the UK”

I think the Scott wallis derail ones are better though. There like twice the price though…

you guys think you’ve got it tough in the US with udc, i live in australia, theres barely anything on the australian site, and shipping to aus is crazy

:frowning:

Dont forget to check www.unicycles.com.au as well and www.unicycle.co.nz
