In the case of this story, that seems to be an oxy-moron.
On the surface, nobody seems to have the baby’s best interests in mind. Hopefully this is not the case underneath all the hype. If she’s lucky, she can be saved from being damaged by all this. As for parentage, anyone who isn’t offering up their DNA should be suspect. Talk all you want. No DNA? No reason to believe a word of it.
Yeah, and I’m getting dizzy down here! And it stinks! Now can we get back to talking about unicycling?
Only if I’m paying attention. If it’s “breaking news” about Anna Nicole, I’m changing the channel. If it’s a “report” on the local even news about a TV show that happens to be on the same station (and probably just ended), I’m changing the channel. Remember when talk shows were about whatever they wanted to be about? Nowadays, how come guest #1 is almost always someone on a promotion tour for a new movie? Kind of makes you wonder if they’re on the show because they’re worth talking to, or because someone needs “free” air time to advertise. But at least a talk show isn’t supposed to be news.
