i love bmx too.but only wathing the videos. i can´t ride a normal bike without accidents:D so i wouldn´t try bmx.
unicycling is much better.because i can do a lot of nice things before the accident:D
BMX is pretty sweet, I ride with a lot of BMXers and fixies and it’s fun watching them bust out stuff.
BMXing is cool but I’m not a fan of park or vert riding. I much prefer to watch street riding.

I want to eventually get into BMX flatland.
I’m starting to get into bike trials and it’s alot of fun. I like to ride trails once on my uni then again on my bike. It’s super fun because you sometimes have to choose completely different lines for the uni and the bike
The commitment for the BMX riders to do the flips, tailwhips, flairs, and similar tricks is amazing. If you crash the consequences can be serious. Several big name BMX riders have ended up with serious injuries. It is amazing to see, but wow, the consequences of failure make me really respect what they do. I could never do that style of BMX. It has never been my nature to take that kind of risk, even back in my more carefree teenage years.

Do/Can BMX-ers do tricks that are more dangerous than unicycle tricks? I would think so, but I don’t know the full extent of the uni.

I think theoretical you should be able to do the same tricks on a bmx as an an unicycle, but for some tricks you need more speed or a handlebar.
A very nice clip. After watching it, what I really want is a blimp hangar or similar large building in which to practice regardless of daylight and weather!
Duh. Did you notice how he was upside down, high above the ramp? Though anyone can ride along cliffs, we unicyclists still can’t get upside down above our own riding surface…

A BMX has more weight for the rider to throw around and more surface area to grab. This makes BMX’s superior in some aspects, but not many people do a double take when you ride by on one.
