Who's watching Rugby World Cup right now?

…and which team do you support;) ?

OUCH!!!
Argentina 14 - France 3

Come on guys!!

Half time break…

Argentina 17 - France 9

(for those interested  )

17 -12 for Argentina who fully deserves the victory, too much french mistakes :frowning: :frowning:

And first self posting thread for me… pretty sad evening :frowning:

Toutes que je sais de rugby j’ai vu sur un t-shirt. Dont c’est que les joueurs de rugby mangent leurs mortes.

id watch if i had cable

AR GEN TINA!
AR GEN TINA!
AR GEN TINA!

Vamos vamos, Argentina…

Good result for the Pumas.
To be fair, they deserved it.
They’ve been getting stronger and stronger over the last few years and it won’t be long before they are pushing to join the Six Nations Tournament.
They gave Wales a pounding when we toured there earlier this year.
A good team, Argentina,

I’ve been telling everyone this for ages but no one believes me.

Wales play Canada on Sunday.
Come on lads!

Australia versus Japan tonight hmm who will win

aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi

eventually, but they don’t eat them during the match, they have to wait for a while until they get frozen:D :o
…Well I Think joking about that is not really “tasty” (:o :o ) - If I remember well the poor men who were forced to do so were Argentina players:(

Anyway, Yes, Pumas were really good, they kept the pressure on “our” team and made the difference during the first half time, undoubtedly… I just hope the lesson will be learnt for the following matches, and that the French team will still be part of the tournament (next step: Ireland I think… not a piece of cake either  )

For those who saw the match: have you seen that one french player who looks like the damn son of a Hummer and a gothic singer? (is it Chavagnes?) The players who tried to stop him (and quiet succeded!) deserve a lot of respect (and must really trust their health insurance:D ), don’t you think so?

*fixed, my friend;)

 You won’t take much risks if you bet on them. but I’ve seen a match between France and Japan (live!) more than 20 years ago and though they didn’t score a point, they proved they were amazingly determined (imagine 15 samouraïs on a playfield!!).
and they’ve been playing better and better since then. I’d like to see them win or play a very good match, I love outsiders…

…that’s why I’ll support Canada:D , plus it’s my birth country;)

you’re talking of Sébastien Chaval ? I like the description : he has been compared to a neanderthal man (though I think he should be compared to 2 neanderthal men!).
I’ve just seen the end but the Pumas were playing amazingly well: it’s a good thing they succeeded (good for rugby: waiting now for Japan and Georgia, a pity Morocco isn’t there).

Chaval has a great look. Look hair, beard, hard as nails.
If he was charging towards me witht the ball I would deftly sidestep him like a matador.
I’m not stupid.

So would I… and though he looks quite “friendly” when you watch him close, I wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark little street at night:D

Wales 42 Canada 17.

Canada gave us a bit of a scare in the first half.
And Hook didn’t have a very good game.
Turning point of the game was when Hook came off and Stephen Jones replaced him.
It was like watching a different team.

Australia at Cardiff next week.

And the Boks on (looks at watch) now.

I juste came to realize the match occured a few miles from where I live :sunglasses:
From what I’ve heard on TV, Canada seems to have played not that bad… but it wasn’t enough:(

Outsiders news: Samouraïs are not what they used to be (they’ve been SMASHED up by a kangaroo gang :o )

Right now: South Africa - Samoa Islands. I expect a great match! Gild already supports S-A, so I think I’ll keep on with supporting the outsiders:D

Also the last of the (nominally) amateur teams and had more than 5days together for training for the first time ever in a world cup.

And how did that work out for ya?

Those guys are big and hard.
Their number 8 especially.
Eish.
Saw one of their forwards sing the national anthem with tears streaming down his cheeks.
That has got to scare the crap out of the opposition.

We lost one center for the duration with a torn bicep. Apart from that we came thru without any serious injuries and with a bonus point.
Which is about as much as you can ask for from these games.

Say, did Freedonia qualify this year?

No.
Heartbreakingly, they came so close, but in the last qualifying game they came within threequarters of a lawrencedelaglio’sballhair thickness of qualifying.
Unfortunately they got knocked out on goal-kickers-cuteness-quotient.

And, as you know that is voted for by the girlfriends of non-rugbywatchers, that is the true wildcard in this equation.
