Hey
So im a 24 year old Aussie and ive booked flights to be in Vancouver on May16th with the plan to travel my way slowly up to Edmonton where ive got a few mates and fly out of there on May 28 back home. Im bringing my 24GMuni and am hoping to ride as many of the amazing trails ive heard about and seen in all the videos as physically possible.
The basic plan is to head from Vancouver up through Kamloops and Kelowna then on to Jasper and eventually up to Edmonton stopping wherever there is good riding
If there is anyone who would be keen to ride and show me where all the best local trails are that would be awesome, and a patch of loungeroom floor to sleep, even if its only for one night would be even better

Hello,
If you want to ride the famous trails, you will probably spend most of your time in the Vancouver area. I’d recommend getting in touch with Vanuni and joining the Google group, so you can see if they are having a ride you can join. There are good trails pretty much everywhere you’ll be, but the really famous ones are on the North Shore.
I’m in Hope, which is about 2 hours east of Vancouver, and you pretty much have to pass through it to get to the Interior. Depending on what day you go through, we might be able to get together for a ride:)
There are quite a few unicyclists in Kamloops that I know, so I could give you their contact information if you want.

Thanks for all that. The VanUni group has heaps of details on the local trails which will help if i end up riding solo
my plans are pretty flexible so i reckon id be able to meet up for a ride for sure
ill PM you more details as it gets closer to when ill actually be there
