This may come as something of a surprise to those of you who know me, because,
for the last five years or so, when not playing hockey, I have been seen at
conventions failing miserably to learn how to wheel walk, but I’ve finally
cracked it. And I don’t mean my head. I’m now regularly up to 20m or so and
yesterday I even had my first definite downhill glide of about five metres.
The difference this time is that for a period of two weeks or so, I made an
effort to practice for at least an hour every day. This was mainly around my
local concrete shopping centre at night so I did get plenty of strange looks.
Wierdly my tyre (Primo “The Wall”) seemed to give me a measure of street cred
with some of the local kids.
See you in the gliding competition in Seattle (Towards the bottom of the
rankings)

Nice one Rocket. Who says the Brits just play hockey and muni. Now we’re toying
with Gliding and free style, where will it end.
