Who is Robert K?

Here are the current top 10 from the unicycle fanatic list:

Robert.K 92.2 Roger Davies 86.4 Uni-Cyclone 84.4 Connie Cotter 80.5 anonymous
79.2 Gilby 77.9 Leo White 72.7 Dubious 70.1 Peter Bier 69.5 Wayne van Wijk 64.9

Anyone know who Robert K is? I haven’t come across the name before.

A fanatic stuck at level 4? How can that be???

I just got one foot riding and seat in back figured out in the last two months.
I’ve got to polish up a sketchy mount but I could pass level 4 now if I ever
bother to get tested.

My tips for seat in back:

  • It’s a lot easier to figure out on a 20" than a muni
  • I’ve got my seat a little lower than normal for a 20" uni because I’ve been
practicing some hoping and jumping skills
  • Ride with the balls of the feet on the pedals so you can stand on your
tip-toes to pull the seat out
  • It’s a whole lot easier to learn if you practice on a smooth level
surface rather than a bumpy and undulating parking lot next to your
    favorite muni trail

Really, it can’t be too hard if I can do it

I’ve been working on my fanatic skills too. Last weekend I took a little ride on
the car deck a Washington ferry while traveling between Bainbridge Island and
Seattle. One more point on the fanatic scale for riding on a moving vehicle. I’m
movin on up.

Re: Who is Robert K?

how did I get in the top 10?

I mean I have done most of the things on the list but I’m not the best
unicyclist.

I am still stuck in level 4.

Any hints on riding with the seat out the back?

Wayne van Wijk

Re: Who is Robert K?

I was stuck at level 1 for many years…

I couldn’t get the graceful dismount
