who has got a Surly Conundrum?

well you know how it is: middle-aged men sometime indulge in expensive toys … Since a Conundrum is way cheaper than a Ferrari I am considering the option
But is it really worth it? (I consider a 26" for wood trails) …
So who really has a Conundrum here? uses? pro and cons?
thanks

P.S. not in a hurry: still waiting for the Euro to climb against the dollar

I dont have one, but from what I have read from them, they are extremely great.

Somebody with better info will pop in and really tell you what you want though =p

I’ve not got one, nor used one, but a friend of mine has the surly LM rim in his GB4 uni with a gazzalodi. If you’re doing woodland trails I would choose something lighter than the surly, it’s a very heavy and rugged wheel which is great for rough rocks but there’s no need for it on smoother paths and it is heavy and tireing to ride long distances. KH29" might be more what you’re after, although it’s a 29 it’s only a little bigger than a 26" gazz on the LM rim and it would roll so much more easily, be lighter for climbing etc.

Don’t get me wrong, the surly looks amazing, but it’s not well suited to what your thinking of doing
