Who did what at BMW

BMW Award rundown.

Thought I’d do a quick rundown of who did what at the BMW,

Starting with the Extreme time trial . This was run over a 1.5 mile off rd
course, starting on grass or gravel, heading out on a bumpy farm track to a
climb on a flinty hard packed track. At the top of the hill the trail hit rotten
tarmac for an uncomfortable few hunded yards before turning in to the woods and
an excellent desent through the trees on technicail single track, liberally
scatered with tree roots. At the bottom of the hill a bomb hole had to be
negogiated before the rider reentered the camp ground on grass again. Riders
were timed and wheel size recorded, people could ride as many times and on as
many different wheel sizes as they liked. Prizes of tyre, tubes, vids and repair
kits were donated by the Extreme bike shop in Poole.

And I still can’t believe I watched Roger negotiate it on a giraffe!

Damn, I wish I hadn’t wiped out on that tree root. Hey folks, my leg’s a funny
colour… sort of purple and blotchy…

Now what shall I wear next year?

And more what?

My polka dot top will certainly see use on the commute to work. Thanks Sarah.
