Who Are These Men? T-shirt Question

So last year, I ordered several random t-shirts from 6dollarshirts.com. I got a very interesting selection including a zombie shirt, a “may the schwartz be with you” shirt, an Adderall shirt, etc. I think my favorite one was this one that says, “The Origin of the Species”. I think I’ve figured out who everyone is, but I wanted to make sure I’m right, especially the first two guys. Do you know who they all are?

Btw, I’m not a hater of Obama, but I do think he is taking, or trying take our country in a direction that I don’t particularly endorse, one that has historically not been a good direction. Thankfully, America is nowhere close to being a People’s Republic of China.

From left to right, Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Obama.

Funny they didn’t include Castro or my pal, Enver Hoxha.

Cute.

I was looking for Che, FDR, and LBJ.

Did they offer a version of that shirt with G. W. Bush instead of Obama?

Bush was one of the best presidents OF ALL TIME.
OF ALL TIME

not really, i hope people highlight this

Why not throw in Jesus, Gandhi, and MLK?

Sounded more appropriate in my mind than when I’d actually typed it. But why let that ruin a snarky retort?

It appears that you answered this question when you proofread it.

I think that the idea is that Obama holds similar views on government as these guys did…

I think you are correct. But Obama could not have pulled so many votes if Bush/Cheney/Rove and Co. had not abused their privilege so egregiously. I think the same was true of Lenin.

I was looking for my friend Greg Harper.

Not so much that they abused their power, Americans take the up the wazoo.

It was that they wrecked the economy, while Cheney’s Haliburton ran off with $billion contracts they never even have to deliver on.

Did Marx and Stalin have similar views on government?

Well, from what little I know of their politics, it seems that Marx came up with or really pushed Communism, while Stalin implemented it into his rule of the Soviet Union.

People who know that little are like food to the Republicans. To think Marx and Stalin were the same is like thinking vanilla and butter pecan are the same. And if those seem the same, anything goes…

Well, the purpose is not to equate all the men on the shirt with each other as much as to show how they relate in some way to the President. But you are right, these two men are not reflections of each other.

Never mind Harper, where’s Shatner?

 Wow, Communism never seemed so delicious! :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s more like a Bush shirt.

Bush was responsible for the deaths of a million innocent women and children and for bankrupting the nation while increasing the wealth of the wealthy. Most of the people pictured were also responsible for the deaths of many innocents. Which is why some people think Bush was the greatest president ever.

Obama should be on a tee-shirt with Jesus, Abraham, Moses.

And, of course, BillyTheMountain, the holiest of the holies.

Question #2

So I’m wondering…are there some people who would consider this shirt to be offensive or inflammatory?
