Who are the 'Masters of unicycling' then?

fixed

There was an almost identical thread about this in December, including that misspelling.

Man you guys are totaly forgetting the muni family of the Hoovers, more specifically Nathan and Beau, who are both crazy good/cool guys.

Then there is also Ken Loui and Tony Melton, from New Zealand.

David Weichenberger from Austria is awesome in like all styles aswell.

O crap I almost forgot Kevin Mcmullin, and Mike Clark. Plus there is Kaori Matsuzawa.

Damn I probably spelt someones name wrong too.

ryan A, KH and Shaun J
are the major 3 (I think

well thank you for fixing it

Yep
It’s Ken Looi.

I’d say the true “masters” of unicycling are those people who have selflessly dedicated themselves to teaching and nurturing the next generation of riders.

Names like John Foss, Connie Cotter, Andy Cotter and Roger Davies spring to mind. You are unlikely to find much on them on youtube but they have played a large part in developing unicycling as a sport.

What About Amanda?

What about one of the Greatest Females, Amanda ?Gallager?

Thanks for the post.

By the way I did not have Kris on the list because he is just obvious. I compiled my list when I was doing searches for videos in order to get instructional material.

Unicorn.

Amanda goes without saying - or as you say: I did not have Amanda on the list because she is just obvious. Easy to recognize her while she’s especially in sight for all guys, after her video!

  • But three little points in the end of the list of course mean incompleteness and I think that’s still important…

Any videos?

I vote for every unicyclist. We are all masters of our own unicycling.

I disagree, I will never become a master of what I want become, because I will always set new goals for me.

You think that being a master of something means that you have no goals??

I bet Kris Holm has goals.

Let me re-phrase what I said, I will never consider myself a master.

I would hope that every master still has goals, but doesn’t think of themselves as a master and not set any more goals.

Typing in SYKO will bring up some good vids on Youtube. As will searching under Koxx 1.

He does biketrials. Can he even ride a uni?

yea, and why is he in the one?

He is the son of the owner of koxx (the bike part) and he is on the koxx team and stuff.

+1

Masters don’t have to be famous.
They don’t have to have a video.
They don’t even have to be competitive.

This applies to more than unicycling too.

yea but, bike trials in a uni vid? what’s up with that?
