Hey all, what was that game the people were playing in ‘A Beautiful Mind’?
It was white and black rocks (tons of them) placed on a board of some sort with a grid on it.
The movie was alright, kinda slow. I wish I had known ahead of time it was about a real guy, it would have been more interesting then, methinks
I think it was Othello. Fun game, but I suck at it.

Yes, they where playing Go.
Incidentally, the moves they showed in the movie made no sense, if you know how the game works.

Can you play Speed Go with a chess clock? Maybe they have Go clocks

The game is called Hex, it’s based of Go
Supposedly the white pieces in the origonal version of ‘Go’ were slightly smaller that the black peices as white makes things appear bigger.
