Very new to uni (1 month), love it, and in the market for a new one. Mine is my uncle’s Cycle Pro, too small for me and he needs it back, some questions:
Should I buy a cheapish one, like a Torker or Sun, and upgrade later when I’m good? or
Should I buy a better quality now like Nimbus?
I really like the idea of muni and there are tons of trails in my area, also not sure if I should buy a specially muni uni now. I would buy a 24" since I’m not that tall.
Since you like the idea of MUni and have local trails I would say go ahead and get the 24" MUni now if you can afford it. If you’re planning on doing a lot of riding on pavement you might want a tire that work better than the Duro Leopard that comes with the MUni. You could get a 24" Maxxis Hookworm to use on the street and keep the Duro for trails. Another option is to go with a tire that can handle both street and trail like the Felt Berm Master.
