Which phone?

Hey! i cant decide… its time for an up grade.
this Samsung Alias seems like a good option for me since i text a lot and would use the key board. I also like the fancy flipping thing it does and how the keys magically change.

or this nokia 7705 twist.
i like how unique this is. it also has a key board on it and looks pretty sturdy.

im also considering the envy touch phone but i heard that the battery on that phone dies really quickly, and i text a lot so i dont want to always be running out of battery.

i picked these phones because the data plan is optional, and my budget cannot afford internet access and stuff so yeah. help me pick please!

I like the one that looks like a phone. If you plan to mostly use it as a phone, you may consider that a useful “feature”.

my friend had an alias for a long time, they’re pretty sweet. also, it has gotten better ratings online from users and reviewers. the nokia looks sweet tho…
if it were me, i’d wait until the motorola droid is released. that thing will rock!

I have the EnVTouch and I friggen love it.

If you can’t get an iPhone because you’re stuck with Verizon, the EnVTouch is the next best thing. WRT battery life: Talk time is decent, standby time is forever, and texting time is just shy of forever. The camera seems to eat the battery, too, but probably because of the flash and the 3.2 Mp sensor.

I text a lot and I love the digital keyboard, but it has the inside keyboard too, which is nice sometimes. Normal useage (maybe 2-3 calls and 10-20 texts a day) I have to put it on the charger every three days or so. I’ve never let it flatline dead, either.

I say go for nokia, I only buy nokia phones now because all the other brands i’ve bought have broken!

well… i use my phone a lot more than you… haha go through 15,000 text messages every month. (to many ladies)
my mom has the env touch also, i have been playing around with it but the battery does have short battery life.

and for the nokia, I like how its unique, but it seems a little cheesy, and toy like… so i think im gonna go with the LG

nokia

I would get the Nokia.

Is that supposed to be impressive or something? I mean, that’s sweet of you to message every single woman at the Sunnybrook Retirement Sanctuary every day, but you could be doing so much more.

I don’t have a calling plan… I own my own voice and data network.

I have five phones with five assistants to write my texts for me. While my personal 24-hour teleconference is being hosted on my 6th phone.

There aren’t phone lines going to my house. There’s a satellite that beams the signals directly to my skyscraper.

In most countries, you can just dial “1” to reach me.

15,000 texts? That’s a good day for me…

You know what’s going to save the UK from a crumbling recession?
British ingenuity.

Let me give you a perfect example.
The other day I bought this miniature phone from this guy on the street.
You wouldn’t believe this thing.
It’s smaller than the tip of my finger, about the size of a paper clip.
And it weighs practically nothing.
And the price?
Ten pounds.
Ten pounds!
I mean, think about it: our technology is so advanced now that for only ten measly pounds, you can buy a mobile phone that attaches to your ear and -

Hey, wait a second, this is a paper clip.

your hilarious!..
so far i have had people suggest the twist from young people and the LG from old people… idk its a split decision

Holy cow that droid does look amazing… but it is mostly likely a smart phone and requires data plan… which is outta the budget.

if you want a full keyboard and a long battery life for texting go with the EnV3. it has the same basic interface as the touch but because it doesn’t have the large digital display on the front the battery lasts a lot longer, and they’re very very durable phones. i drop mine all the time and it still works like new.
