Which book should every adult read before they die?

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn

“Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki

“Who Moved My Cheese” Dr. Spencer Johnson

both are great books about how to make your money work for you, how money works, and “Who Moved My Cheese” is a good book to help you deal with change in the work place and in your life and turn everything into a success, i highly recommend them both.

Oh, Dont eat the marshmellow…yet.

That is a good one, take about a day to read but it is good.

How To Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale
by Jenna Jameson

Finally, there’s a book on this list I could probably sink my teeth into. I’ve glanced at it a few times but have always passed on it.

The only books really worth reading are the metanarrative texts.

The book of Revelation.

My daughter recently read TKAM, I never had (or even seen the movie). When this tread came up her library copy was still at the house. I finally read it over the past couple days on my flights to Mississippi and back. In fact, I read it 1 1/3 times, probably finish it again over the weekend.

After Hurricane Ivan in '04 I spent a week in the Montgomery/Mobile area. Never did get through Maycomb but after being in South Alabama I could about imagine what the town looked like.

Now this makes a lot more sense too.

Hey, Boo. Or should we call you Mr. Arthur?

Jet aircraft maintenance for dummies

the Darwin Awards

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
or
Anything by Irvine Welsh

Ann Coulter’s “How to talk to a liberal (But only if you must)”

“Tao te Ching”, “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”.

Both have changed my life for the better, and I’m only a teenager.

EDIT: “Metamorphosis” and any of Kafka’s other works.

Also, Chicken Soup for the Vegetarian Soul. :stuck_out_tongue:

That is NOT the title.

It’s: Hinduism and the Art of Jet Aircraft Maintenance.

I read "to kill a mocking bird " it gave me no advice what so ever on how to kill mockingbirds

haha, isn’t that off the simpsons?

You mean this Ann Coulter:

“Frankly, I’m not a big fan of the First Amendment.”

“Not all Muslims may be terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.”

“My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times building.”

“It would be a much better country if women did not vote.”

“God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, ‘Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It’s yours.’”

“Would that it were so! … That the American military were targeting journalists.”

“When we were fighting communism, OK, they had mass murderers and gulags, but they were white men and they were sane. Now we’re up against absolutely insane savages.”

I guess this book:

“Immortality: A dummy’s guide to living forever”. I can’t remember the author, sorry; it’s been almost three hundred years since I last looked at it. An excellent book; easy to follow and the results were spot on. I’m certainly glad I read that before the pneumonia got any worse!
