Where to get a...

“circus pole”.

I mean one of these:

(One of my circus instructors doing a trick with his).

I think they’re made of carbon or something, and maybe you see that there is a piece of rubber on each end for extra friction.

Where can I get one?

Thankyou for your help.

I’m a juggling enthusiast, and I have to say that I’ve never seen one of those before. You said that the picture was of your circus instructor doing a trick with his, so why not ask him where he got his? Good luck in your search!

That looks cool. Ask him if you can videotape him, I wanna see what you can do with it

Oh that is so cool! What’s it do? I bet all you need is grippy ass shoes and super strong stick.

It looks like one of the poles used in pole vaulting.

I haven’t seen one of those props either. You could try contacting whoever you’ve seen using one, or experiment with building your own.

according the the wiki, a danish artist, see link above, invented a circus act with a pole, it is a relatively new prop, bu the pole is attached to the ground and then to a rope to the ceiling, the pole hanging at an angle.

I didn’t find any pictures of the “Danish Pole” as it is called, but his site if impressive!

No, the pole I’m speaking of isn’t attached to the ground, nor to the ceiling (nice idea though), like in the picture of my instructor, you climb it, jump with it, anything you can imagine.

If only I’d have known what it’s called.
